VirtuWal Lab
Online since 11 June 2026, the VirtuWal Lab is an immersive virtual platform built around three thematic islands — hydrogen, water and energy — allowing users to explore Wallonia’s testing infrastructures, learn more about their technical characteristics and identify relevant contact persons.
This new tool, stemming from the S3 strategy and involving three strategic innovation initiatives — IIS H2O, e-WallonHy and CETWA — aims to foster innovation, collaboration and visibility at both regional and European levels.
This platform is designed as an innovation promotion tool and targets a variety of audiences

- Partners in European research projects looking to expand their consortium
- Companies seeking specialised expertise in a specific field
- Students wishing to discover Walloon expertise, or individuals looking for employment in these sectors
- Public authorities and all stakeholders whose mission is to promote Walloon expertise internationally.
Designed as an engaging and immersive tool while maintaining a smooth user experience, the VirtuWal Lab is set to evolve, with regular updates to already listed equipment and the addition of new infrastructures.
