ValoMin’ is an IDEA initiative launched during the March 2025 Water Hackathon (organized by SWDE and SPGE). It develops innovative solutions to valorize the crystalline mineral fraction of sewage sludge from treatment plants. Based on a circular economy model, the initiative explores novel valorization pathways in partnership with Centre Terre et Pierre asbl and others. ValoMin’ also aligns with IDEA’s strategic participation in the SPGE’s technological orientation market for the sludge sector.
