SPGE
The SPGE's main mission is to coordinate and finance the water sector in Wallonia. In consultation with the other water partners, it is primarily responsible for wastewater treatment (from the sewer to the treatment plant) and the protection of water catchments.

Be-Drain - Draining (lean) concrete for durable road surfaces
Started
As part of the Be-Drain pre-normative project, the partners are working together to develop technical guidelines, performance characteristics and suitable test methods for these pervious concrete mixes. This research is based on both laboratory tests and validation measurements carried out on test beds and/or on site.

Reduced power consumption in aeration tanks at wastewater treatment plants through the use of more efficient biology that consumes less oxygen. Reduced production and treatment of residual sludge. Improved carbon footprint.
