Inventory and risk assessment of wastewater use for agricultural purposes in Wallonia

This project aims to create an online tool that evaluates the risks associated with reusing treated wastewater in urban, agricultural, and industrial sectors. The tool considers the potential impacts on human health and the environment, specifically on groundwater, surface water, and soil. It is based on a review of wastewater reuse practices in other European countries, particularly for agricultural purposes. The tool will list potential risks and provide indicators and objective limits, where these values have already been established, to guide the use of wastewater for agricultural, urban, or industrial purposes in Wallonia.
