Cluster TWEED

The Cluster TWEED (Walloon Energy Technology – Environment and Sustainable Development) is a Walloon organisation bringing together more than 200 companies active in the sustainable energy sector. The Cluster is committed to playing a major role in business in the renewable energy and energy optimisation sectors.

What are our missions?

Approved and supported by the Walloon Region, the Cluster TWEED’s mission is to promote the implementation of high-quality projects related to the production and use of sustainable energy.

This mission is divided into four areas, in accordance with the decree on the support and development of business networks or clusters:

1° Mapping axis : mapping and structuring of the economic ecosystem, and dissemination of information to members of market opportunities (calls for projects, market opportunities, technology watches, …) and news from the sustainable energy sector
2° Network axis : networking and development of synergies between actors in sustainable energy sectors such as companies, networks (clusters, poles, federations, …), public organizations … from Belgium and elsewhere
3° Valorization axis : local and international promotion of the members of the Cluster
4° Innovation axis : support for business innovation in economic, digital and environmental transition and provide technical and operational support, notably through the conduct of economic, sectoral, strategic and technological studies
