The Clusters TWEED & H2O play an active role in supporting innovation by accompanying companies through all phases of their projects. The Clusters intervene from the outset to initiate, guide and assist in the development of large-scale projects, whether these involve technological innovation or strategic investment.

Drawing on their in-depth experience, they also support members in monitoring calls for projects, whether at Walloon, Belgian or European level. Depending on the needs of the project, the Clusters can be involved as partners within the consortium or as members of the advisory board dedicated to project monitoring.

The Clusters are also committed to promoting the results of supported projects, assisting in bringing innovative products or services to market. Finally, the Clusters offer a range of support services, including business model analysis, networking within the Walloon ecosystem and with sectoral stakeholders, as well as ongoing support for research and innovation.

Nearly 100 projects supported to date, with one objective: to shape tomorrow’s world through collective innovation.

INNOVATION SERVICE OFFERING for members of the TWEED & H2O Clusters

Clusters TWEED & H₂O offer two types of support depending on whether you are initiating a specific request or whether the Clusters themselves are taking the lead in structuring or expanding an ecosystem.

You have a project idea, you have identified a market need to which you wish to provide a solution, or you wish to innovate in order to acquire new knowledge within your organisation, working alone or in collaboration with one or more partners. Clusters TWEED & H₂O:

  • a) guide you, on the basis of a diagnostic meeting, towards the most suitable funding mechanism and connect you with relevant potential partners.
  • b) help you structure your project on the technical, economic and market valorisation fronts, through in-depth analysis meetings.
  • c) support you in maximising the impact of your project results, once it has been funded and is underway.

Clusters TWEED & H₂O have identified a call for projects on a specific subject with a clear objective, forming part of their priority themes. Based on their knowledge of their national and international networks and their members, the Clusters select potential partners, build the consortium, and coordinate the project development from the initial idea through to submission. Should the project be subsidised, the Clusters take charge of its operational coordination.
