Mapping
Identify water and energy actors and position their skills on the respective value chains

The mappings carried out by the Tweed and H2O clusters aim to inventory the different actors in the energy and water sectors, identify their business skills and list their collaborative and/or innovative technological projects.
The business skills are placed on a horizontal value chain to highlight the ‘who does what’ regardless of the technology or sector and to have a functional vision of the latter. The positioning of technologies on a vertical value chain allows, for its part, to describe the technical steps of a process in a sector.
The Tweed and H2O clusters are also conducting an inventory of the main recent projects in Wallonia and Brussels related to various sectors of the energy transition as well as the water sector. Each project is characterized by a series of information (description, partners,…).
These maps then allow us to
- Carry out a diagnosis of the sector by confronting the Walloon know-how with the needs of the sector and the challenges in terms of technological innovation and thus highlight the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats,
- Promote, through dedicated communication materials, regional skills at national and international events,
- To stimulate research & development and investment projects.
