Metop Engineering is committed to developing smart energy solutions that optimize the use of renewable resources and support the transition toward more environmentally responsible energy consumption. Its mission is to enable everyone to maximize self-consumption of green energy, reduce CO₂ emissions by capturing and utilizing up to 95% of unused solar energy for domestic hot water production, and provide a simple, cost-effective alternative to reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
The Soliseco project originated in 2022 from a simple observation: solar panels generate significant electricity, yet boilers remain active. Soliseco addresses this by hybridizing hot water production to make better use of available renewable energy while limiting gas consumption. This approach delivers tangible environmental benefits, including a 15–20% reduction in total CO₂ emissions, lower consumption peaks through synchronization with solar production, and improved energy independence by reducing electricity or gas purchases and contributing to grid stability.
Soliseco incorporates intelligent modulation by converting surplus solar energy into heat stored in water, reducing the need for chemical batteries or backup power plants. The solution integrates seamlessly with existing installations without requiring boiler or water heater replacement, minimizing additional costs and impacts. It also stands out for its ecological design: no chemical batteries and no refrigerant gases, avoiding the use of polluting materials and any extra greenhouse effect. Every kilowatt-hour used locally helps reduce dependence on polluting power plants and accelerates the energy transition.
