Circular Water
The Walloon Region was right to include water among the priority value chains of the Circular Wallonia Strategy 2021–2024. As a cross-cutting theme, sustainable water management indeed offers multiple economic development opportunities whilst being inseparable from environmental challenges.
Designated in 2022 as coordinator of the water value chain, Cluster H2O has led the Circular Water Wallonia roadmap and secured regional funding for the implementation of an action plan that is drawing to a close. This is, however, only a first step. The actions undertaken and feedback from the field have demonstrated the potential and value of water circularity for the Walloon economic fabric.
Cluster H2O now intends to build on the results achieved through Circular Water Wallonia by contributing to the establishment of a framework conducive to water circularity practices and supporting Walloon stakeholders in their circular projects.

The coordination mission of the Circular Water Wallonia actions of the H2O Cluster has just ended. We are pleased to present you the results of these 3 years of projects, actions and exchanges that have advanced good practices in water management and brought this cross-cutting theme to all Walloon stakeholders.
