EcoH2O – Study of water-saving devices in buildings, including full-scale testing
Started
EcoH2O is a project aimed at identifying water-efficient sanitary devices in buildings, such as showers, toilets, and sinks. In collaboration with manufacturers and through full-scale trials, Buildwise conducts a study to provide installation recommendations for professionals, promoting water-saving practices.
Green SKHy
Started
The aim of our project is to promote the development of the clean hydrogen sector by reducing the obstacles to the European recognition of skills and related systems through joint action plans and by promoting careers that can contribute to the energy transition through new practical training schemes.
REnversC
Started
This project offers an innovative response to today's environmental challenges. It brings together a wide network of partners from various backgrounds, united around a common goal: to sustainably transform the construction sector.
Belgian Hydrogen Council
Started
WaterstofNet and Tweed have both been coordinating their regional hydrogen clusters in Flanders and Wallonia respectively for several years and ointly established a national hydrogen council that aims to transcend the various political levels in our country.
RENOLAB
Started
RenoLab is renovating the Walloon construction sector via a center integrating digital technology and an industrial workshop. Responding to energy renovation needs, it accelerates off-site industrialization and trains for tomorrow's trades, while promoting a circular approach.
Build-value
Started
Valorizing the construction sector by promoting the use of low environmental impact materials to achieve decarbonization.
CROSS_HEAT
Started
STEPinBel
Started
STEPinBEL will assess the potential for new pumped storage hydropower (PSH) in Belgium to increase the flexibility and resilience of the electricity network. It starts with an existing initial mapping, which will be improved and extended throughout Belgium.
ValoMin'
Started
ValoMin’, initiated by IDEA through the 2025 Water Hackathon (SWDE & SPGE), seeks to valorize sewage sludge by exploiting its crystalline mineral fraction through novel circular economy pathways.
ValHyCon
Accepted
The NWE faces a common challenge: moving hydrogen valleys from fragmented local projects to coherent scaling. Although several valleys have emerged, their development remains poorly coordinated, without a common roadmap. ValHyCon’s goal is to enable this large-scale deployment by developing, expanding and connecting valleys.
H2Hubs
Started
The project aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises in their energy transition, with a focus on the development and implementation of common infrastructure. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of hydrogen-integrating solutions, evaluated for their technical, economic and environmental relevance.
