Teaching applied sciences at bachelor, master and doctoral levels.
Development of advanced technologies and technical solutions based on the fundamental scientific disciplines of dynamics, continuum mechanics, materials science, thermodynamics and applied mathematics, with particular emphasis on applications in the fields of aerospace, materials and processes, energy conversion, mechanical systems, biomechanics and numerical methods.
Development of advanced numerical simulations and numerical modelling.
Scientific collaborations with other academic partners, research centres and private companies, both regionally and internationally, to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and support higher education programmes. A&M has a large network of privileged industrial partners.
