In 2016, Rotor launched Rotor DC (Rotor Deconstruction), a spin-off project dedicated to selling reclaimed construction components. This project makes it possible to buy reusable materials, contributing to the circular economy in construction.
The company also offers design services, incorporating reclaimed materials into bespoke projects, particularly for interior fittings. It works alongside other design teams to identify reusable materials in existing buildings, develop reuse strategies and maximise the integration of these elements into projects.
Research is an integral part of the work, and some projects focus specifically on themes such as sustainability and circularity. Finally, it also engages in education and works with a wide network of experts to advance reuse practices in architecture.
