Cluster Eco-Construction

The Cluster Eco-construction is a dynamic network of nearly 300 experts in Wallonia, specializing in the construction and renovation of sustainable buildings. The Cluster’s goal is to promote healthy, comfortable living and working spaces that are also energy-efficient and less reliant on natural resources. This network brings together a wide range of sector stakeholders, including architects, contractors, engineers, researchers, trainers, producers, and suppliers of ecological materials such as insulation, paints, coatings, etc.

Founded in 2003 by several industry players, the Cluster Eco-construction plays a pivotal role in driving the eco-construction market in Wallonia. It works to raise awareness and inform the public about sustainable building practices, while representing the sector to public authorities.

The Cluster is also a key player in the economic development of eco-construction, encouraging innovation and collaboration between professionals in the field.It is recognized and supported by the Walloon Region and is part of the Sustainable Building Network, an initiative led by the Ademe, the French agency for ecological transition.This network includes actors in the renewable energy sector, study offices, research centers, higher education institutions, and universities, strengthening the impact and scope of eco-construction projects.

The Cluster also provides a platform for its members, enabling connections between producers, distributors, and businesses in the eco-construction field. It offers a directory of members that includes companies specializing in ecological materials, insulation services, and other products and services related to eco-construction.
