The Laboratory for the Analysis of Human Movement (LAMH) came into being in March 2012. The equipment was financed by the French community and its construction by the university itself. Projects within the laboratory are multidisciplinary, involving several faculties at the university. The laboratory was originally developed by the Faculty of Medicine (Professors Jean-Louis Croisier and Bénédicte Forthomme) and the Faculty of Applied Sciences (Professors Olivier Brüls, Serge Cescotto and Vincent Denoël). Other faculties now have projects within the laboratory. These include the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Psychology, Logopedics and Educational Sciences.
