This event covers the regulatory framework, showcases tools and real-life projects, and offers the opportunity to discuss with experts on how to initiate or optimize water reuse in industrial settings.

Taking place on May 27, 2025, in the Huy region (exact location TBC), this event focuses on reusing treated wastewater in industrial facilities. Driven by climate change and the circular economy, more and more companies are seeking solutions to reduce water consumption and make better use of their effluents.
In partnership with Entreprises Wallonnes de l’Eau (EWE) and Mecatech Competitiveness Cluster, Cluster H2O offers:
An overview of regulations and insights into why you should implement reuse (EWE presentation)
Tools and practical advice, including Safe2Reuse, a risk assessment tool (CEBEDEAU)
Real-life case studies: Life Zeus project (material & energy valorization at Sirops Monin), experiences in ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis (Balteau SA), water reuse in plastics processing (Eloy Water), plus rainwater and heating water recovery (IBV – Wood Energy Vielsalm)
Sector examples: water recycling in the pharmaceutical industry (Takeda)
The event, free of charge, concludes with a networking drink, providing a chance for direct discussion with experts and discovering how these reuse solutions can be adapted to your own company. It aligns with the Circular Wallonia strategy for water and is supported by the Wallonia Recovery Plan.
