EDF Luminus is an integrated energy supply and services company. With an installed capacity of 2033 MW in January 2018 and more than 30 sites spread across Flanders and Wallonia, EDF Luminus represents around 10% of Belgium's electricity production capacity. This potential makes the company the country's second largest electricity producer and supplier. To ensure optimum quality of service, EDF Luminus has developed a range of activities to serve its customers in Flanders and Wallonia: thermal, wind and hydroelectric power stations and a whole range of innovative energy services. The company also holds stakes in several nuclear power stations. Products / Services We invest in renewable energy generation and energy efficiency services to combat global warming and help our customers reduce their energy bills. Finally, we are developing flexibility solutions to contribute to the supply-demand balance and security of supply. EDF Luminus has been investing every year for over 50 years in innovative technologies to help its customers develop renewable energies. This is reflected in the construction and acquisition of wind farms and the renovation of certain hydroelectric power stations. These investments have already borne fruit. Renewable energies account for more than 17% of EDF Luminus' production, with around a quarter coming from hydroelectricity and the remaining three quarters from wind power. EDF Luminus has thus become the market leader in renewable energy, both in hydroelectricity and onshore wind power.
