Founded in 2017 in France, Purecontrol harnesses artificial intelligence to significantly reduce operational costs, energy consumption, and optimise operations for the water management, industrial and renewable energy sectors.
Purecontrol is revolutionising industrial automation through AI-based real-time and predictive control. Purecontrol's approach is unique in that we go far beyond analysing data and making recommendations. Our predictive control solution implements optimisation strategies by sending control commands to the PLC in real-time, automatically adapting to site behaviour and external parameters (weather forecast, electricity tariffs, renewable energy production). Purecontrol also detects anomalies and performance deviations.
The result: more reliable processes, unrivalled energy efficiency and a reduced carbon footprint.
Now deployed at more than 300 water treatment plants and drinking water distribution networks, the solution has proven its effectiveness on processes. Purecontrol reduces energy consumption by an average of 15%, and its carbon footprint by up to 40%.
2023 was a turning year for Purecontrol as the company raised 7 million euros to accelerate its development abroad. This round of funding has been raised from two investment funds including Noshaq, a Liege-based investment fund, as well as the leading global operator Veolia; recognising the value and maturity of Purecontrol solution in the water sector. International development is a key part of Purecontrol's strategy. That's why, backed by Noshaq, the company has opened an operational subsidiary in Liège at the end of 2023.
This strategic entity brings together several people dedicated to the development of the Purecontrol software solution (R&D in AI) and others responsible for the commercial development of the solution with Belgian water management players.
